Willie Pinson is a sensational Singer, Songwriter, Author, and Educator inspiring deep waves of emotion and change in all he does. Since the age of 13, he has been perfecting his technique of singing in various styles including Classical, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel, and Contemporary Christian. From his early inspirations in southern gospel, rhythm & blues, and funk, he has written and produced two solo albums and will be releasing a highly anticipated EP in March. His inspirational songs speak of the relevancy of the Gospel in Contemporary situations.
Willie's inspirations spring from a well of God’s love and wisdom. As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather he leads and serves his family with faith and compassion. His reach went beyond his family as he taught Chorus at McClintock Middle for 23 years inspiring hope through the joy of music and mentoring thousands of Charlotte’s youths. He also served as a Site Coordinator for Christ Lutheran Church Freedom School for 16 Years where he touched lives through literacy and experience. He recently retired from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and served as an interim lay Pastor of Christ Concord. He currently has returned to education as the Choral Director of Rawlingson Road Middle School in Rock Hill SC. His soon to be published book “The Middle of Wait: A Memoir of a Man in God’s Time” is an inspirational account of his life inspiring others to pay attention to how God speaks in every moment.
